Membership Levels and Benefits
Our policy is that a user - as a Basic Member - for free shall be able to register observations and upload photos to the site and also to view his or her own data. To access information from other members and to be able to benefit from various premium features, a Basic Member has to upgrade to either Standard or Premium Member. These levels carry a modest membership fee per annum (rolling 12-month period) - of the fee GT will set aside 5% for conservation projects. An overview of the membership levels and their key benefits is shown below:
The access linked to membership level is planned to be implemented as of 2013-04-01. We have extended this deadline to allow most of the above features to be fully implemented which is scheduled during the first half of 2013. Basic Members from certain countries will until further notice be able to access functions at Standard Member level also after the date mentioned above.
Submission of Membership fee
We are introducing the below payment methods which all are safe and easy to use (if for some reason you can not use any of these, please contact us on views@globaltwitcher.com!)
1 Bankgiro (Recommended option for Swedish Members)
Submit your payment to our "Bankgiro" account number 271-4913 through your bank or internet bank. Please specify your name and UserID - which you will find it at the bottom left hand corner below - to allow us to track the payment to yourself.

2 PayPal (Our recommended online option outside Europe)
Simply press the Pay Now button and you will have two payment options at your fingertips (you will have guidance in English):
* If you have a PayPal account you can obviously use this (having a PayPal account does not cost you anything and allows you to submit your payment - to us and other vendors - without giving away your credit card information)
* If you don't have a PayPal account, you submit your card information (VISA, Mastercard, Discover or AmEx) and the payment will be processed

3 Payson (Our recommended online option within Europe)
After going through the necessary "nuisance" to register your account at www.payson.se (which however is without cost) you will have two payment options at your fingertips. Back at GloberTwitcher.com, check your UserID at the bottom left hand corner below and then press the Payson button matching your preferred membership (then put your name and User ID into the Message box as reference):
* If you have Internet banking in Sweden or Finland this allows you to confirm your payment directly with your bank; you will automatically be directed to your bank's payment confirmation website and after that your new membership is confirmed and you will be redirected to GlobalTwitcher.com
* If you live outside Sweden or Finland, you simply submit your card information (VISA or Mastercard) and the payment will be processed
