These really are fantastic photos, what a lucky day for you.

Although the signboard is about Poison-ivy, the plant trailing over it is not that!

Andris Klepers (2008-10-11 22:55:57)
Looks like an ad male. Similar to seen in Latvia today. Do you have any suggestions about the subspecies?

Valter Jacinto (2008-10-06 13:33:34)
I take some photos of this Subspecies in Algarve, Portugal.

C. Michael Hogan (2008-09-07 15:58:03)
This is a very special image. Not only are the fur highlights well depicted, but the facial expressions are priceless. Keep up the great work Monika.

Excellent photo of this species and attractively composed with its background.

Är detta vad som även kallas "Korm"

Calle Ljungberg (2008-08-14 12:20:51)

Erik Ljungstrand (2008-08-13 18:23:26)
Bilden visar naverlönn Acer campestre L., inte något fikon.

Very nice and dynamic shot

Coccinula (2008-06-23 19:02:53)
Sorry this looks more like a Coccinella quinquepunctata. For a Coc mag it's too small, the shape is not round enough, the lack of a (mostly small) spot in front-dawn, ...

Peter Ericsson (2008-06-22 17:26:37)
Excellent image! As good as it gets.

Peter Woodall (2008-06-22 14:16:27)

Hi Morten

What a cracking photo. We saw them last year in Ecuador but in very poor light. Your image is great and brings back wonderful memories.

Pete

Det var en spännande bild. Snygg!

Stefan Ericsson (2008-04-29 11:57:16)
I thought this mystery bird was only known from an old specimen from India. Is this correct? And where was the picture taken?

Henrik Mikkelsen (2008-04-19 20:19:56)
Funny - I took a picture of a similar-aged bird on the exact same sign on May 3rd 2007 :-)

Brian (2008-04-01 23:29:39)
Awesome shot!!

Markus Rehnberg (2008-03-22 10:10:43)
Är inte detta en vanlig bärfis (Dolycoris baccarum)?

MR (2008-03-03 08:50:27)
A Monotypic species IS a species with NO subspecies. This one do have subspecies, therefor it´s not a Monotypic species!!

paul (2008-02-20 16:49:42)

gees golden langur (2008-02-20 16:47:14)
